This table was commissioned for the silk scarf maker ‘Guillemin’ for their fashionable shop on Avenue de L’Opera in Paris.
The Formica top which provided a smooth surface for the silk to glide across, has been replaced with stone and the table has been re-finished. The firm ‘Guillemin’ also produced silk scarves for Hermes.
